I am a retired Detective and have just started researching my Family Tree. My grandfather George Robb was killed in 1918 in action at the Battle of the Somme. His father was William Robb who was born in Methlick, Aberdeenshire about 1842/3, and in the 1891 Census stayed in Edinburgh and gave his occupation as a Slater. He had two brothers named Peter and John. Thats all I have confirmed to date.
I would be grateful if you could inform me if he has featured in your own research, or if you can give me any pointers for furthering my own family research. Thank you for your help in this matters. You have obviously spent a considerable time researching your own family
